How to Create an Event

To publish events on LatinMap, follow these steps:


1. Activate a user account

1.1 Register as a user: latinmap.com/en/dash/register or log in

1.2 Confirm your email address via the verification email. You will then be logged in automatically, or you can log in again yourself.


2. Activate your professional account

2.2 Enter your mobile number for SMS verification

2.3 Verify your phone number via SMS (one-time)

(Phone verification is required to ensure security and authenticity of users & content)


3. Create your Organization (via the professional dashboard)

3.1 Add your logo & description

3.2 Enter your contact details & locations

3.3 Select your category (e.g. Dance school, Instructor, Performer/Group, DJ, or Dance shop)


4. Create your Event (via the professional dashboard – Events section)




What can you do after phone verification?

Once your phone number is verified, you’ll have access to powerful tools:

  • You can only create an event after verifying your phone number
  • Creating and publishing events is completely free
  • Create, edit, and publish your own events
  • Link your events to your Brand page
  • Be found via the agenda and smart filters
  • Create multiple Brands under one Pro account if you run multiple projects (e.g. Dance school, Teacher, Show team)
  • Allow others to manage events for you using the authorized person feature β€” invite someone inside or outside your organization to create, edit, or publish events on behalf of your Brand
  • Choose from three permission levels β€” you decide who can do what


Why do we ask for phone verification?

To use Professional features, we ask for a one-time confirmation via SMS code.

Phone verification ensures security and authenticity of users and content.

This is a quality check to keep the agenda free of spam, fake events, and incorrect data, and to guarantee a reliable experience for all users.


Already listed in our agenda?

LatinMap has already added several festivals and events to the agenda based on public sources.

Are you the organizer of an existing event on our site?

  • Please contact us via the contact form (login required)
  • Or check your e-mail β€” we may already have sent you a link to claim your brand/event
  • Everyone who has already β€œliked” the event on LatinMap will be directed to your Brand as soon as you have claimed it.

Can I change my Brand or Event?

Yes. You can edit a Brand or Event, and it will instantly update on LatinMap.

Can I create a Brand or Event and choose to keep it offline until promo starts?

Yes. You can set your Brand or Event to be online or offline at any time.
